Here is an interesting observation from Acts 1:3:
After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
Here we have Jesus, back from death, knowing that He would only be there with His followers for forty days and that He was going to leave it with these people to build the Church, His bride. With that knowledge I think it is fair to say that He was going to discuss with them the essential. Read back over the verse. What did he speak with them about?
The Kingdom of God.
There are quite a few scriptures on the Kingdom of God. Have you ever studied it? What is it? What is its significance? Frankly, I’ve not heard many really unpack it but Jesus sure did talk about it a lot.
