Please pray for McKenzie. She is the eldest daughter (in college) of friends and neighbors of ours. She was having some strange medical symptoms, went to the doctor this week to have them checked out, and was rushed to the hospital to have a lymph node surgically removed. They are testing it for Hodgkin’s Disease and she will know something tomorrow. Pray for her parents and younger sister. They had no idea any of this was happening and are simply trying to understand what all of this means.
UPDATE: The oncologist gave them good news today that no cancer was found. She apparently has some viral infection that dropped her platelet count to fatal levels, but those numbers are comilng up and they are hopeful that she is on the mend. Please continue to pray for her and her family.
