Finding Great Writing

Lunacy or Lucidity

All too often, with my hands still wet from tossing half-frozen chicken parts into a pan of boiling water, I rush to the computer, hoping I’m not adjudged as having been there too much of late by my wife, and let my fingers flail out some idea that God has been working through my thick skull. (I’m glad I am typing that word “skull” because I’ve always sounded funny saying it. In fact, I’ll never forget drama my junior year of high school during which I had a line that included the word “skull.” My drama teacher, Mr. Black, stood at the back of the cafeteria (all small schools had a stage at the end of a cafeteria) and made me repeat that line at least as many times as I wondered if some girl might actually think I was cute.)

Anyway, unlike what I produce in those moments and moments like these, occasionally you can stumble across really great writing. A view like this picture inspired Christian music artist Andrew Peterson to write something wonderful. That is what I found here.
